Are we ABSOLUTELY SURE that Dom T and Christian K aren’t the same guy? I mean has anyone ever seen both of them in the same place at the same time?

Oh, it’s a family car. I think I could get permission if I can justify it that way.
Wakes up.
Checks savings account.
Never mind.

What kills me, is that I get what makes this car costs stratospheric dollar figures.… the exotic and second-to-none engineering, construction, and materials... and first rate luxury, and unbelievable power-efficiency per liter.
What I also get, is that their hybrid system is so cleverly simple, that it could be scaled to the mainstream.
Instead of a 600+ horsepower twin turbocharged Freevalve I3... how about something a third that powerful, and mainstream?
Instead of 1000+ horsepower worth of electrical motors... how about something that mainstream hybrids or BEVs currently use...
The hydrocouple... a high-end lockup torque converter, something that isn’t exactly highly exotic tech.
Combine that into a mainstream chassis... even reverse it to keep the engine in the front, mixing into the front axle, and the rear axle being electric... and use the electric drivetrain first, with the engine as an on-demand generator, and mixed in kinetic drive for cruising with a fixed final drive ratio.
The CONCEPT of Regera and Gemera’s hybrid drive could be a mainstream game-changer, not just a talking point and bragging rights for the uber-wealthy.

That's not what Koenigsegg does.

Nah. Dom prefers displacement.

Me thinks you should send you CV to Christian

True, but think of all the money they could make selling their tech?

It isn’t. However, even Koenigsegg even said directly, that the system was scalable when promoting Regera .
Presumably, they could license the technology to a volume mainstream manufacturer if one were interested in bringing it to the mainstream market. A company with volume suppliers, factories, and dealer/support networks that Koenigsegg doesn’t require for limited-run hyper- cars.

They sell their tech at $3,000,000 per car.
